At Beauvallet Brazil, our partnership with eureciclo, contributes to the environmental offsetting of paper and plastic packaging and to strengthening the recycling chain. The eureciclo seal communicates this commitment, which is also expressed in environmental results and resources allocated to organizations responsible for recovering the materials.

In the report covering the period from July 26, 2024 to July 31, 2026, eureciclo recorded 217.35 tons of materials offset through the partnership. Twenty-three waste picker and recycling operator organizations in 12 Brazilian states benefited, with direct transfers of R$ 11,412.46 to the network involved.

Through environmental compensation, we support the recycling of materials equivalent to our packaging. In this way, we contribute to ensuring that paper and plastic return to the production cycle and to valuing the work of those involved in the collection, sorting, and marketing of recyclables.

What is eureciclo?

Eureciclo is a reverse logistics solution that promotes recycling in large companies based on the amount of packaging placed on the market.

The initiative arrived in Brazil in 2014 through Thiago Pinto, an MBA student at Northwestern Kellogg School of Management , and Luciana Oliveira, who aimed to transform solid waste management in the country. Currently, more than 7,000 brands are supporters – and Beauvallet Brasil is one of them.

The importance of GRI and IRIS+

The report connects the partnership's results to international sustainability benchmarks. The GRI standards, from the Global Reporting Initiative, guide the disclosure of impacts on the environment, the economy, and people. IRIS+, developed by the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), offers metrics and guidance for measuring and managing social and environmental impacts.

For Beauvallet Brazil, the partnership data provides a basis for monitoring material recovery, supporting recycling organizations, and the resources that reach this chain. Its relationship with themes covered by GRI and IRIS+ contributes to more transparent communication and can support the evolution of sustainability management. The application of each indicator depends on its criteria and the scope of available information.

Monitoring the results

Up to the time of the report's publication, the compensation achieved corresponded to 36.5% of the contracted paper mass and 11.4% of the contracted plastic mass. Disclosing this progress clarifies the initiative's progress and reinforces the importance of monitoring the results over time.

By encouraging recycling and supporting its agents, Beauvallet Brasil contributes to the circular economy and expands its responsibility for the post-consumer impact of its packaging. Beauvallet Brasil - French tradition, Brazilian beef!
